8th Grade - Narrative Writing
These items are the essential parts of the 8th grade narrative writing project so far. I've listed them in reverse order but they are numbered to show how they each feed into the next.
3. Create a 1st draft (rough draft) of your personal narrative essay. It should be an extension of the outline you created. It should include 5 paragraphs - an introduction that starts with dialogue or action then "back fills" with setting/character information, three body paragraphs that explain different aspects of the experience, and a conclusion that wraps everything up and states the lesson you learned as a result of the experience.
